just been speaking to a couple of people who tell me that cloning existing scripts is illegal is this true or not?

not copying the code that falls under copyright law lol
what i mean is say a script generates 2000 pages every second in php i heard that if you make an exact clone of that script using your own code it is illegal

huh... not unless they have a patent on the specific techniques of the software... you can create your own version of any software as long as you dont copy the code...Comment
