Hey I just got off the phone with Aaron's sister.
They got to see and abogado(attorney) and he said that it will be rough to get him out. And expensive! This sucks! I tried to head down there to see what I could do whether it was take him food or some clothes or something and the cops wouldnt let anyone see him!
Mexico is not somewhere you wanna fuck around! And hopefully when he gets back home he will remember!!!Comment

Nobody in their right mind (sorry Aaron) will push the issue to see if a soldier's semi-automatic is loaded or not, so ammo is a low priority item.
If you ever watched The Andy Griffith Show, and remember Barney, the deputy, you will recall that Andy only rarely gave Barney ammo for his revolver. Pretty much the same thing in Mexico. Of course, then there is always the issue of the firing pin, which are very pricey down there. So they use the butts of their weapons to beat their prisoners into submission.
There are very few instances of cops and soldiers actually shooting anyone. Usually just beat the crap out of them and throw them in a cell with 100 other poor fools. When you get out depends entirely on how much money they "think" you can come up with.
When they bust you carrying $7,000 in cash, they know you are big time, and they are going to hold out for mucho dinero.

I contacted the mexican embassy on this side as well as the american embassy on that side and they both say about the same thing, have to go to court and see it thru. problem is that could be weeks!

Fuck, we need to round up a posse and go bust his ass out of prison. SNOW can supply us with some guns, a couple of my Navy buddies will do the same. I can get a full sized van to load everyone up in. This WILL work, we just need some cash to pay off customs once they see our loot.
Anyone willing to help save Aaron, give me a call by Wednesday. This weekend the real shit will hit the fan. I saw this work on the Cartoon Network once. If Phil and Lil can bail out Tommy, I have no doubt that a van load of crazy fuckers can bail out Aaron.

That sucks he's locked up, but you guys are all acting like this is something completely out of the ordinary. Shit like this happens all the time. Shit, when I was in Mexico I had M-16s pointed at my head on 3 seperate occasions, been kicked outta just about every bar/club, paid off the cops, paid off club owners...this was all in just one week.
