I have to agree it's bizarre that Bush let Bin Laden get away...
I voted for Bush in 2000 and empathized with him throughout the whole sept 11 crisis. But I live in Las Vegas Nevada....and while Bush was campaigning for security in 2004 I was watching my city fill up with hundreds of thousands of foreigners.
These are not tourists... they are illegal immigrants absolutely flooding and colonizing the city. Bush refuses to secure the borders. How can he talk security and terrorism while simultaneously allowing anybody into the country through a non-existent border

The man is a complete phony. He is only "Christian" enough to get votes from the right wing base. Now he will turn on them because he doesn't need them anymore.
Notice that Bush always speaks in code word to his Christian base? He says things like "culture of life" and "protection of marriage." He never says he's anti-abortion and never says he's against homosexual marriage. WHY? Because he is pro choice and pro gay marriage. His own girlfriends have had abortions in the past and he supports domestic partnership for gays without calling it marriage. Duh - its' the same thing. But the code words appeal to his fundamentalist base without alienating too many swing voters from the LEFT
Very sharp politician and an absolutely diabolical man. He completely destroyed the democratic opposition while simultaneously lying to his own base.
