Do you receive mail on all of your domains?

I've gotten fed up with all the spam I've been getting. Over 50,000 emails yesterday alone. I've already tried multiple filtering techniques, and frankly with that volume & ratio of spam almost all fail miserably.

So I just removed the mailserver DNS entries from a few hundred of my domains.

Some RFC's require acceptance of 'abuse' & 'postmaster', and I'm just wondering if any of you know of any problems I may run into not having mailserver entries. Do you have mailserver entries for all your domains?

i am considering removing anything but webmaster or postmaster from my domains......make everything bounce back....most of the shit I get is address to non-existant emails anyway, i think that would cut down on most of my mail shit

Yep, used to be 20,000 a day, but in the past few weeks they really kicked it up a notch. I only use emails on a few domains and don't need the rest.

My last filtering technique was taking up a GB of space per week to keep signature files, so it could properly filter them.

I haven't noticed if I have any of those, but I do get a few hundred in Japanese a day.

I turned off "catch all" e-mail on all my domains.
Made a huge difference, went from receiving 500+ spam e-mails to less than 10 a day.

I have 60 domains left, each receive at least 300 spams emails every day, I am about to cut email on all but 4 or 5 domains

Yep that's my other option, but the way my mailserver is currently setup it would be quite a hassle to selectively disable the catchalls. Easier at the moment to just pull the DNS entries.
