Juicybucks paparzzifilth has sex tapes on the front of the site. One of those are Allison Williams (Miss West Virginia) and it isn't even her in the video. So they went after any one promoting it.
I hope all of the defendants will sue the sponsors that enabled this.
Easy solution to avoid this is to only promote legal celeb content (which is rare). http://HotelHeiress.com does well with celeb traffic and none of our creative will put you at risk.
I recommend that all webmasters, especially touchable webmasters with a u.s. presence, thoroughly troll through every doorway, site, landing, splash etc. you have on the net rapidly replace and take down all links to sites that have infringing content. Demand proof of 2257 and copyrights etc. if you are ever unsure. You already know what to look for.
You can target celebrity traffic and send it to a legal destination and nobody can mess with you. Yes, a shady site out of parts unknown with a stolen video will convert better on your targeted celebs that are out there with sex tapes. The problem is that you are a sitting duck if you send that traffic to somebody who is breaking u.s. and international laws. The legal system and Hague Convention Treaty are CROSSING BORDERS too.
Why think short term? Why not be able to sleep at night? Getting sued sucks hurrendously and we have been on both sides of the equation and it should be a last resort...

Were you using her name at all on your site or were you just linking to the sponsor?
If you weren't using her name or any of the content, how did they find you?
Edit: You might not want to answer these questions or talk about this issue publicly without talking to a lawyer.
