Well Mikey does have a fondness (no pun intended) for kids like this one that are either sick or have a disorder. He lets them into his life and home so easily, perhaps he should have investigators look into the people he so gladly helps out?
He is a very naive and trusting person and it comes back to bit him.
Oh yeah, and not invite kids to spend the night in his room would have been advisable, especially after the first set of allegations ...
