    newbie here first site opinions please

    Hi was told that this is where all the big boys hang out so i thought i would stick my head around the corner and hope it doesn't get knocked off.My first 2 sites are listed below for you people to please take a look at and tell me will i ever get out of here alive

          Ask for a designer to do something for you. For a few hundred bucks upfront, your shit will be converting a few hundred a day. Keep doing it yourself or having a friend do it, and it will convert that much in 2 months. This is not a slight or a joke.

                          First of all, welcome here and no worries, noone will eat you alive

                          Well, no offense man, but you should really trash the whole design and hire a designer. I know how hard doing a good design is, I can't myself, but leave things you aren't really good at to the experts.

                          Just had a look at the softcore site:
                          It's too big (800x600 is still standard for most people), colors look like CGA, not enough text, bad navigation (hard to find and to read), the media player graphics for the video screenshots look strange, etc.

                          The girls are very cute, could imagine this baby to convert very well, you'll make back what you invest into a design really quick.

                              no offence taken i want critque and am not the kind of guy who is going to spit his dummy out because someone says something critical.Resolution wise i have spoken to the guy who sbuilt it for me and am trying to get it sorted.

                                                      but you forgot to add juicy text on those girls, just put some text on some girls... dirty text, make them talk and you will make bank.

                                                      I dont know about the pink colour make it dar blue instead.

                                                      do the same with the other site and you will convert great.

                                                                  M$ messenger says you aren't a user. BTW - I had problems getting ICQ to work too. Try installing ICQ lite first and then install ICQ 4 over the top of it. Worked for me

                                                                          I am new to this also but not new to business at all. Looking at your first site as a consumer and not a web master, there is to little to entice me. The video on the right was the only one that was not broken, it was good. Loads relatively quickly (of course I have broadband), good enticing dance and then masterbation and cut off is at a good point.

                                                                          The tour section left TO much to the imagination, gotta show a little more than that, after all I can get more thrills from watching MTV and that is basic cable. Remember our sites really need to be memorable if you want people to return or even sign up, there are a lot of web masters out there and unless you can get lots and lots of traffic to this site that want to spend money I do not think you will ever be more than just one of a million when you want to be one in a million.

                                                                          The design is clean but the bottom makes it look non professional. Pink and red are passion colors and do have an effect on the brain, blue does also (calming, easy on the eyes and makes you lose track of time when used with white lines or feilds) so either will be a good color.

                                                                          Did you shoot these girls yourself or did you buy the rights from someone else?

                                                                              Checked out the second site, nice lay out in my opinion, not to good for one handed surfing ;) but not bad.

                                                                              Only complaint is that hat, I know these kids are into this "trucker hat" crap but that has got to go (knit picking) unless you are going for the niche of emo kids or whatever the average person who knit pics is gonna say no to that. Only one of the 30 people at my party did not say loose the hat and he is lame so no one listens to him anyway. Girl is not bad looking though.

                                                                              Anyway hit me up when you get icq running, i know it is a little overwhelming with all those names on it and keeping track but it seems to be the way it works, I got into trading porn back in 99 on it, good to be back "home" haha.

                                                                                          Definatly splurge on a design service when you are just getting started. It will convert enought that you dont loose hope and give up. Spend some time and read up on what works and what doesnt, find a few sites you like and are already doing well and go from there.

                                                                                              The design needs some work....but I would maybe keep the overall feel. Uhm...looks amateur...but you know...sometimes that converts better than something too professional looking. It seems lately that when some surfers see professional they think big business....gonna get scammed...and when they see something more amateur, they think the girls put the site up themselves.

                                                                                              The scale is wrong obviously....but with a good design that doesn't look too professional, and correct marketing, I think you may have a winner here.

                                                                                                  www.abi-heaven is converting like a bitch at the minute so going to leave as it is for know but you guys are right i am going to keep the amateur feel.
