When you look up a page and it shows just the URL but no title or body text for it?
What causes this in google?

That happened to alot of my pages and alot of them ended up dropping out completely. I hate to say it but it may be time to find a new host. It's hit my wallet pretty hard.Originally posted by WiredGuy
I would venture a guess and say yes.

There's a reason I pay $3.50/gig, NO DOWNTIME
When Googlebot does a crawl, I cannot afford to get a month of shitty listings.

$3.50/gig is chump change when SE traffic is your living. A single domain for me doesn't even use a gig of bandwidth for me and it sure as hell makes more than $3.50.Originally posted by WiredGuy

Exact same reason I got a dedicated at Swiftco.net. Along with a few well known sponsors and stand-alone websites. Triplexcash, Soulcash to name a couple.
If you just need some gallery space, see the sig. They are good. Also www.kohost.us <-- they were so good I actually felt bad when I moved my sights to my dedicated.Comment

Oh okay, yes, that is what most hosts guarantee (99% uptime). So care to name who you host with?Originally posted by WiredGuy
They have a 99.5% guarantee I believe, they don't guarantee 100%. But it's been a solid 14 months with a single minute of downtime.

Rackspace (http://www.rackspace.com). Don't signup directly though, let me talk to my sales rep. The prices they quote are obscenely high. I usually get a 40% rebate since I've been with them 5 years now and they give me their lowest possible rates. Let me see if I can get you the same rates.Originally posted by cluck

I'd feel bad about getting that big rebate off the bat. A fair price with added cost for 100% uptime is fine with me. A solid investment is a solid investment. As long as it's fair I'm fine with whatever price it is.icq 279990726

Sure thing, you sold me on it. Are all their plans 100gig+ bandwidth? I sure don't need that. I don't mind paying any price per gig but 100gb is wayyyy more than I need.Originally posted by WiredGuy
Actually, Cluck, email me (GFY at WIRED2000 dot COM) and they have a refer a friend type form with your first/last name, email, phone number (optional) and I'll get credit for it. If you're interested that is

Minimum plans start at 30 gig which is what I got. We're in the business of redirection, not pushing large volume. 30 gigs between 3 machines is all i need.Originally posted by cluck

OK 30 gigs at any halfway reasonable price isn't too expensive. Certainly worth it.Originally posted by WiredGuy

But these pages were there, then indexed as just the URL and then eventually dropped out. All after webair went down. I can't afford another incident like that.Originally posted by escoman
googlebot has just indexed your url on someone elses page but hasn´t indexed your full website. Googlebot will return to that url and index the full page.icq 279990726
