Basketball Is Fixed...

How many series do you see that go less than 6 games? It's all about commercials, TV Time and Ticket Sales. These games aren't real. I like watching just like the rest of you...but it's all fake. Why wouldn't it be? These guys are all millionaires...who cares if they really win or fake win. Maybe I am wrong but I just don't see many sweeps anymore...conspiracy theorist I spose...

They even have a pattern for drama enhancement. Bookmark this thread and see if I am right.

Prediction: Pistons win next one. Then comes the "Well it looks bad for the Lakers, they are so far down in the series" drama. Lakers come back like heroes and win the championship.

I am probably talking out of my ass. I just question EVERYTHING. One of my drawbacks probably...it helps in certain situations however.

after watching tonights game I definitely think basketball is a fixed game

the pistons are a good team but not THAT good

come on now we are talking about the lakers here who have soo many more powerful players. no way in hell will they loose it's all about the money as it always has been!

lol...I am just guessing. It just seems weird to me that there are never any real sweeps anymore. I mean it is probably due to free trade agreements and the loss of the "Dynasty" but god damn...it always goes to game 6 or 7.

My question is this. How many more millions of dollars to the real players get for 2 or 3 extra games? I am not talking about the guys sweating on the court...I am talking about the REAL players...the owners, marketing agencies, TV executives, etc..

Ofcourse it would be impossible to cover up. Hell most people can't keep a secret after walking out of the room. I just like to see how passionate people are when they disagree with an opinion. It's comical really...

Have you even been following the playoffs this year, much less the finals in years past? The last decade the west has totally dominated the east in the finals with most finals going five games or less and hardly any going 7. Even this year, many of the playoff series went five games or less. What do you mean by "free trade agreement" and most consider the current laker team a dynasty( 3 championships in 4 years). I'm not going to disagree that the NBA would love for the finals to go 7 games, but you could apply that to any sport. I can assure you there is no big conspiracy.

somehow i try to think that the series will go that way... damn the Lakers are palying kids right now and not their usual from when they beat Timberwolves and Spurs..

Not true at all.

Case and point? My favorite team the NJ Nets, made it to the finals against the Lakers in 2002. I would have liked nothing more, than to see them battle it out 6-7 games. Fact is, they got swept 4 games to 0.
