well, it ain't all about the photography.
technically it is good enough.
but to get surfers to actually pull out their CC's the pix must be different.
and IMO these won't do in the marketplace. and they won't do because surfers have seen these images 100,000 times already. the same couch, the same potted palm in the corner, the same poses. no, not exactly the same, but so similar that the surfer will not click on the stuff.
sorry, you most photograph a model in a different way. a way that people are not used to seeing, and throw away the technique books, and visualize in your mind, and think outside the box.
shooting a solo girl is all about fantasy and psychology, and is really trickier than shooting 2 or more models who are relating together. remember the connection is with the girl and the surfer, and the challenge is to provoke the surfer's imagination.
