I like my cock just fine the way it is, I cant imagine being cut. It seems that alot of girls find it "weird" because it's not what they are use to, more fun for me though
My only complaint is condoms are a bitch with it rolled all the way back
Originally posted by DarkJedi The only reason circumcision is still routinely done in this country is for money. Insurance companies are billed $1800 for the procedure and considering how many male babies are born in this country every year, that's a lot of money.
If you approve of routine circumcision, you approve of genital mutilation. What other countries practice gential mutilation? Israel and most African nations - except the Africans mutilate their little girls too.
When I was pregnant with my son, I researched this and after seeing how the procedure is performed I said NO WAY! How would you like part of your penis cut off, without ANY anesthetic?
Believe it or not, selling the left over skin is actually big business. They use the skin cells to grow more skin for use in skin grafts and stuff.
I had to tell the hospital staff 5!!! times that I did NOT want it done. It seemed like I was the only mother who'd ever said leave my sons penis the way it's suppoed to be!

Circumcision is cruel and unecessary. The foreskin was put there for a reason - to protect, just like your eyelids protect your eyes. My husband and both my sons aren't circumcised and not one of them has ever had a problem keeping clean. Don't you bathe? Please...
And for people who use the excuse that it looks better or it's what's 'normal', that's just ignorant and selfish. You'd cause your child unecessary pain and longterm nerve damage because it's 'prettier'?
I don't know about other parts of Canada, but here in the west, it's very uncommon for a baby boy to be circumcised. In the city I live, only 2 doctors still perform the procedure and it's not covered by medical insurance because it's considered an unecessary cosmetic procedure.
Btw - when erect, you can't tell the difference between circumcised or uncircumcised.

It doesnt make you lose much sensitivity, because of the way the brain works..
It's like a blind person having very sensitive ears or nose.
Especially the shaft of the penis becomes more sensitive.
As far as the intensity of the orgasm goes, what does it have to do with how sensitive your penis is?
Actually, if you last longer before you have an orgasm, it makes it even more intense.
Circumcision is wrong. It's unncessary and cruel for a child to bear without being able to consent. Strange how even non-religious people can actually debate about cutting off a piece of another persons body without their consent (just because of 'tradition'? that's frightening). Why not cut off ears, sometimes they get infected and dirty don't they?
As for locker rooms, I don't think some of the ladies understand how men behave. We could hardly care less about cut/uncut. It's nothing to be ashamed of, it's a joke to men. We call ourselves 'mushrooms' or 'ant-eaters' all in good fun.
It does reduce sensitivity because the skin that was once protected is now exposed and has to build up a form of callous.
They all look the same erect too, so what's the diff?
I know of too many men and small boys that did not have it done and then when they got older they did not have a choise.
It is cleaner and safer
when your son is born and curcomcised there is no pain involved unless your doc don't know what they are doing.
There are a few different ways of doing it also and if it is not done when the baby boy is born you run the risk of tearing the skin when you are bathing the baby, or if they are not properly treated and cleaned with every change and the diper gets dry it can also tear.
If uncut men though it was cleaner AND more appealing to women they'd be heading to doctors in droves to get circumcised. They don't go in droves and prefer to stay uncut because those are misnomers. Most women find penis ugly cut or uncut. It's an ugly thing. It's like a vagina...it's ugly but we still love it

Pluse it looks better and more healthy
all the talk of it being healthier is rubbish, as long as you wash it regularly it's much healthier with it. you talk about babies... so do you think a baby's cut dick is healthier getting dirty, swimming around in piss and shit in their diaper, than having a foreskin to keep it clean? that's what it's their for.

There are several other misinformed people who are pro-circumcision posting in this thread. But if it makes you feel special to think I'm speaking directly to you, then go ahead
Why does one need a penis to have an opinion?

Yep, as stated earlier the smegma is an anti-bacterial agent. It's clean and helps keep that area clean, not the other way around. And having an open wound in direct contact with urine and fecal matter is clearly unhealthy and asking for infection.
