    Is this a good deal for hosting?

    Hello,
    New to this. Is this a good hosting deal?
    I was looking at their "Monthly Special 3" plan - $69.95
    Any opinions?

          We host at prohosted.net and you get much more for cheaper than that. http://www.prohosted.net/packages.htm - for 60 bucks you get 3 gigs and 250 for transfer.

                      It really depends on what you are doing. Hosting that is best for hosting TGP or MGP galleries will not be good for hosting scripts.

                      What are you planning on doing with this hosting?


                      Overall I have never heard of Plutohosting. Looking at the prices they are ok but not exceptional.

                          Let me ask, who the hell is going to keep the kids out of your system once you buy the box?

                          Most folks hosting content don't know dick about security, not less how to keep their shit from being ripped off.

                          Also, who's going to manage your system and keep things running?

                          Most folks see a "great cheap deal" and get screwed when the place they get their hosting from over sells them a box, then charges them when it gets hacked, charges them insane bandwidth overage charges, then goes down when their single power source UPS shorts out.
