Functioning in the "real" world

Do you ever catch yourself saying/doing things in the "real" world before you remember that you aren't among fellow pornslingers? How many times have you said something without thinking, and then realized too late that most of the people in the room don't appreciate terms like "gaping anal" or "cum guzzling jizzmop".
I swear, the longer I work in this industry, the more detached I feel from the real world and "normal" people. Lately when I go out amongst regular society, it seems that the "mainstreamers" are the weird ones and I am the only normal person in a room full of uptight freaks.
Think I need to get out more?

haha... yeah, it's especially noticeable when you get a group of webmasters together in real-world surroundings and then pay attention to the reactions from the people around us because of our normal everyday conversations. Cracks me up!

umm yeah you need to take a vacation or at least get more time away from the computer, no problems with relating with fellow people in the industry but thinking the rest of the world is weird and uptight my be a problem

I guess it's a novelty thing, when You've been at it for as long as You prolly have..

Probably easier to gain routine etc. in ones work with time.

when I turn off my laptop and enter the real life, I don`t feel the great difference between me and surroundings. Know why? "They" don`t know who are we `cause we look like them and our thoughts are not available for them

I tend to shy away from people who don't/can't know what I do for work, because then I always feel like I'm hiding something or have to be somebody I'm not. People who I can't be myself around tend to make me uncomfortable.
I mean, obviously I don't go out and wear a sign around my neck telling everybody what I do, but if I'm getting to know somebody, it's nice to not have to lie about stuff, ya know?

Strangely, a lot of the people I hang out with are 10 times more extreme than a lot of the people here. There's a lot of keyboard pimps and keyboard wildmen here but ya get them into the real world and they're quiet as church mice and uptight as a library worker.

Me and my mainstream freinds have been proudly gangbangin chicks since we were 15... even without a videocamera present.

I usually feel like others are less normal if I hang out with chicks from outside the industry. I think guys in the industry and out are all the same though ;)
