    Getting a DVD burner this week (question)

    Picking up a plextor 8x dvdrw cause i have too much shit to back up on cds.

    Was wondering, can i burn dvds and watch them on my tv dvd player or do i need a new dvd player for that?

              No problem. The DVD-R's are the best for video compatability. Use DVD Decryptor to rip DVD. For some good info: DVDRHelp

                  BTW good choice, the Plextor is the best you can get.
