i had ars sigs as well as other sponsors sigs and noticed that without posting nonsense and just answering the post i'm interested in as usual , my ars sig made me enough money to pay my hosting bill when other sigs brought me zilch. i would be fucking stupid to take it off as long as its ok with ars , now once again they change the rules once the game has started wich say a lot about their ethics and the people they hired to plan their marketting strategy. i will take the sig down but it will just make a hole of not even 5% of my revenue , and i'm being generous about crediting them 5%.

Well, in light of the assholes on this board getting their way...I think it would be more than appropriate to cause the same fuss about the signatures they have. After all, aren't they whores also? They complain constantly yet they have their signarture with their refrerral code in it.
I personally thought the vast majority contributed to this board and I rarely saw just a smiley or anything else. They took the time to form sentences and paragraphs when a ton of others could only give the GFY finger.
I think it is a shame that ARS bowed down to the childish antics and "gang up" mentallity sported on this board. For those of you that did, you digust me. They had JUST as much right to support the program of their choice than you do. Whether they got paid by impression, referral codes or "whored by the month".Comment

Yes I complained about "ARS sig whores" and as much as some of you want to make justifications for why it was no big deal or how everybody else does this or that, nobody will convince me it wasn't abused to the point of making this board and the people on it to suffer like no other marketing gimmik before. Bullshit there weren't a lot of smilies. That is laughable. I had to wade through tons of useless drivel and smilies in almost every thread because of some of you and it wasn't just annoying but was killing this board. Maybe some of you don't want to see the reality that I see or just want to make more excuses, but the proof is in the pudding. How can posting 2000 smilies or two word drivel replies in a month qualify as you being a member of the board as a participating webmaster when if the pay per post incentive is removed many of you will simply dissapear from the board entirely, so you wanted to contribute nothing to us or do any biz. here but were here to use us webmasters as simply sig impressions for your income and at the same time were sucking the life force out of this board with the useless posts in every thread to have to dig through. I like ARS a lot. I actually got a check from them today. Although the marketing plan of paying people by the CPM was ill conceived and they even admited as much today didn't they with how people abused it. Like I said before here, when you start associating and ignoring EVERYONE because of their sig because of its association with worthless drivel posts, than that is unfortunate for the serious posters with that sig. If it was just me that would be one thing, but if you saw the threads with people's ignore lists that included everyone with an ARS sig, you would have to agree with me that it wasn't simply this person or that person but a truckload of spammers polluting threads to get cash and treating every other webmaster on this board as another sig impression to them without any regard to the aggrevation they are causing everyone else and with no other biz here than using us to get impressions by contributing only pollution to threads.
