                                It's a shame this thread has become one of "how much money you make" and "coke versus heroin".

                                We have a parent here who made a bad decision (pending the actual truth). There are many other parents here, I'm sure, who have done drugs and have to deal with similar circumstances.

                                It's a sad shame that a place where so many gather, where so many could offer to the common good, quality advice, choose to sigwhore their place on this board.

                                    She's 16, She's just going through a phase.. It's 2005.. Most 16 and 17 year old go through a coke phase, then snap out of it a couple years later. You didn't do anything wrong, You can actually turn it around on her now. Ignore her for a couple days then spaz out. "YOU WANNA FUCKING RUIN YOUR LIFE? THATS FINE WITH ME, BUT DONT COME CRYING TO ME WHEN YOU'RE HALF BRAINDEAD LIKE I AM FROM THAT SHIT".

                                                                If this is a true story the answer is really quite simple. Seriously..

                                                                Go to her. Tell her that you feel really bad about what just happened. Tell her that you know she realizes that you've had a problem with coke in the past. Tell her exactly what you told us: "I wanted to rip into you for doing that, but I realized how hypocritical it would be if I did so".

                                                                Then tell her that you love her and really don't want to see her fuck herself up like you did. Tell her that no parent wants to see their children experience pain, and that you know from experience what pain she'll be facing if she does what you've done. Tell her it breaks your heart that she'll face the same things. Don't be afraid to let the tears come. Be humble when talking to her, and not like a parent. Teenagers automatically rebel against parents.

                                                                Just be honest and real and don't get angry or talk with attitude, even if SHE gets one. Just tell her you love her, that you understand you can't control what she does with her life, but you wish to God you could because you'd take away all the pain she'll face in life.

                                                                    I read the thread. Was one of the first to post in it. And understand what you were trying to say. However, I'd have to disagree that some teenager looking for drugs would accidentally buy heroin instead of coke. However, I might be so out of the game at my age (29) to think that it's common for drug dealers to mis-represent cocaine for heroin to unknowing clients. Again, I'm out of "that" loop and could be talking out of my ass.

                                                                                                            Like i said i watched my friend die in front of me he hadnt done any drugs at all, we had just gotten off of work together. he bought a flap of crstal meth that was actually heroin, he snorted it , he died.

                                                                                                            And yes mistakes happen psiii in this case the dealer who sold him the drugs i knew and he had simply given him the wrong flap in the dark. Heroin is MUCH more expensive per weight that coke or crystal meth so theres no reason to mix it or anything..

                                                                                                                                                            Actually it's sad that this guy is quite typical of MOST of webmasters on GFY. Most feel they are above the law and rules are for everybody else. It seems like the majority have criminal records and some have been convicted of serious felonies. Many brag about their drug and alcohol abuse. Any form or business ethics is a foreign concept.

Many brag about their drug and alcohol abuse. Any form or business ethics is a foreign concept.
