1.) it will blow there cover....
2.) is a little more complicated so it has an A and a B answear
A.) from the ones that believe they are a big player that do the hating, they are worried that they will lose their sheep that they pay pennies to while they make dollars off of the sheeps work.. a stupid uneducated sheep is a good sheep, an educated aware sheep can cause problems for the whole herd.
B.) the sheep that do the bitching, worry that they will be overlooked by aforesaid sheep herders in favor of a sheep that does not lie about their ability
3.) The ones that are in for the long haul do appreciate it.
The ones that aren't (or if it effects their own personal sheep as mentioned above) have issues with honesty, and wonder when I might find the dirt on them and expose them, so they figure it is easier to try to keep me down while I am a pup, rather than let me become a bigger dog than them...

There is some software programs out there, but actually the best thing to do would be to hire someone like wiredguy, or seguru for example to do the job for you, enabling the best ROI if you are not well versed in SEO , as it changes all the time too, and they keep up with it full time.
