I can relate to this pic. One day I was squatting down painting a baseboard and lost my balance. I didn't realize someone had laid a piece of trim behind me and a nail went in my wrist. In my case it went in lengthwise along the the bones, not in between as yours. Although the scrapped bone hurt like hell a week or so it was actually better that it went in that deep because it missed the blood veins. Piece of trim was nailed pretty securely to my wrist though
