It is one of the most activly watched of all advertising media due to the size of the screens and the anitipaption of the coming film, this keeps the viewers attention far better than say a TV ad.
Yet saying that especially over here in the UK cinema ads are far far more cost effective.

I don't like them much either, but you have to consider two points
1. They don't start at the movie start time, they're on before, as you're filling up the theater and sitting down.
2. You're on this board so you're probably an entrepreneur. If you owned a theater, wouldn't you throw them in there before the movie starts to substantially increase revenue? Especially since everyone else is doing it. Where else are the customers going to go?
You know, actually I used to mind them more. But now I kind of welcome breaking the dead silence in the theater.Comment
