    Is There Some Sort of Blogging Software Suite Available? To Start a Blogservice?

    see topic...

    I'm talking about software to create a service like Blogger.com or TypePad.com is there anything commercially available like this?

    If not I'd like to discuss this with a few programmers to see what it takes to get this done.

          or search for the old multiuser version of WP, I think it allowed for setting up a blog service...

                              Its a long way from being ready for primetime, I got it installed ok several times but it kept corrupting after a few hours, probably be a few months before its usable, too many bugs

                                  It's not my script. I just had the link and got a copy as part of a deal when I bought the Free iPod Script.

                                  I haven't done anything but did do a test install locally and it looks pretty good to me.

                                              This looks like a good business model. Lots of users = lots of pages = lots of PPC space to advertise (just make sure to put this on your TOS). Also may have the side advantage of good SERP for some of your pages (depends on how they are interlinked).
