Submitting to TGPs etc - anyone got any advice?

    Hello,
Not something i've ventured into before - submitting galleries to sites.

What is the conversion rate normally like? Anyone got a list of places to submit to? (going to do it manually for a day or 2)

    Anyone got any advice?

    cheers

Too many different factors to give any solid data.

Take Chameleon Submitter for a spin. It's a good tool for getting started.

    Spend you some brain.

If you have to start. Get a submitter. Then from their you have a list to submit to at least. And you can start working on partner accounts.

auto submit tgp traffic sucks.. only thing it is good for IMO is upselling free trials and free offers

partner accounts at least you know you will get some decent traffic depending on the tgp

As stated above, get Chameleon Submitter - its database will save you weeks spent looking for individual sites yourself - its pretty decent - all sites you need are inside ready to use - the new ones can be even added yourself very easily. It updates daily (every business day)! And currently has 192 categories to choose from.

Moving from manual to auto submitting:
There is no reason why you should not have a same good results these days with an autosubmitter compare to manual. It just saves time which is a bonus so you can concentrate on the other stuff..
Chameleon Submitter will also take care about all the site rules so you will always know that you are sending the right galleries in right format to the right places.

The tool itself is clear and user friendly. Check out these official and interactive Tutorials, there you can see how to work with this tool properly, how does the software actually look like inside and how to get the maximum out of it: http://www.chameleonsubmitter.com/tutorials.php

Learn how to work with autosubmitter and e-mail confirmer in order to make your job as easy as possible so you can cut down the time needed for submitting gallery to the minimum and then start obtaining Partner Accounts.

              As for Partner Accounts:

There are actually 4 different ways to get listed at a TGP or MGP sites.

-Free Listing: It's for sure the easiest one, but unfortunately the number of Sites that would accept free listings are rapidly declining, because too many cheaters/people with crappy galleries abuse it. So Site owners have to apply some kind of "filter" called....Partner Account

-Free Partner Account: Here you'd have to contact the Site owner with some samples of your galleries before you'll be able to submit to his site. Better sites/sized Sites nowadays require one to proceed (partner account).

-Paid Partner Account: Just the same as the free one, but you'd actually have to pay a monthly fee to get your galleries reviewed/listed.

-Paid Gallery Spot: A guaranteed spot on a site, for a limited time and for a one-time payment.

If you're interesting in obtaining free Partner Accounts, Chameleon developed Partner Account Requester just for this purpose - this tool works perfectly together with Chameleon Submitter, which is something that you will later find very helpful !

You only need to following these factors:
1)promote fresh sponsors and fresh content
                2)avoid free hosts for galleries
3)have a good designer for galleries(if you are good designer then you can save a lot of money)

                        My honest advice:

Don't even try, unless you can travel back to 1999

                        (no offence)
