Its the butterfly effect - go back to the dinosaurs era - step on a butterfly and kill it. that butterfly could have been the meal that is much needed for a bird - that was the meal much needed for a man and his tribe to eat. The butterfly dies, the bird dies, the men die ... changing the fact they cant produce children - therefore altering a whole nation - maybe even wiping one out

I've never heard anybody talk about stepping on butterflies when explaining The Butterfly Effect.
In any case, all risks considered, I still think it'd be a good plan to punch Mrs. Stodghill in the ovaries.
