well lets think about that one for a minute - you invent a time machine go back 1000 years - introduce it then. You have changed the course of history and maybe even the meeting of your grandparents who were too busy making pit stops building pyramids. Therefore you never were born - therefore you have removed yourself from existence.
anyone with a time machine must take the responsibility that altering the past has major effects on present - that includes even bringing back a cold !!
Its the butterfly effect - go back to the dinosaurs era - step on a butterfly and kill it. that butterfly could have been the meal that is much needed for a bird - that was the meal much needed for a man and his tribe to eat. The butterfly dies, the bird dies, the men die ... changing the fact they cant produce children - therefore altering a whole nation - maybe even wiping one out
