Because Google have a delay at the moment in passing the benefit of new links it may now take 2-3 months whereas before it would happen automatically the next pr update.
But a high pr site doesn't necessarily mean you will get good positions in google.There are many factors that help or hinder getting god positions in search enginesComment

I have domains that went up less then 6 weeks ago...(LESS THEN) and have recieved PR 4s on first update. And pages i make for google start sending google traffic roughly 3 weeks after being made. (its all about linking )
If there was any sort of wait these domains of mine wouldnt even be listed right now. Let alone listed with decent PR (especially for brand new adult sites debuting at 4s and 5s) and giving me high ranks in Search Engines. I will also add the domains themselves didnt get the high search placement but pages i MADE for google did.

Its true that pr can pas after 1 update still.I have www.blackglamors.com that became pr 7 after its first update but is now dropped to pr6 since the last update but anyone who follows google knows there are delays in passing full pr and benefits from outbound linksComment
