exactly. people have no way really to fight it, so they pretend its not there hoping it will go away. kinda like a hypchondriac. they aren't really sick, but they keep telling themselves so much that they are sick, that they become sick. sample principle. they keep telling us crap and eventually it becomes truth in your head. sad but true.
