GFY is a board for adult webmasters to discuss the biz or blow off steam etc.

CJBucks is just 1 sponsor out of dozens. This board is run by another, Adult.com.

Most WMs in this biz run their own sites and promote other companies porn sites. They then get a "commission" from the sales of memberships and/or products.

The WMs place links on their sites to the sponsor sites that have codes in them that gets tracked on the sponsor sites.

If you're truly interested, there's about a dozen web sites out there that have lots and lots articles about the biz. If you continue to ask questions like this that you could actually get answered from those resources sites then you'll just end up getting laughed at and flamed here.

A word of warning. There's lots of people out there ready to take your money while making promises that you can make a boat load of money doing this. Don't fall for it. If you want to make money then you're actually going to have to work at it as hard as any other full time job. Actually. Harder since it's your business and not someone elses. i.e. you can't have an "employee" attitude and succeed.

I think some webmastering skills are essential at the very least.

Thanks tempest, all good info. I'm guessing the first thing i need is to learn how to build a website or find someone to do it for me.

Try to learn all by yourself - use the "third party's hand" (for money) only when it's really needed. When You'll learn all step-by-step the money You'll earn will grow from month to month...

2 advices:

1). Don't hurry - if You do sth in adult biz - do it right.
2). Beware of "too hot Sponsor deals" - e.g. 75$ per Trial Signup or so... It's impossible. "The House" is always a winner so think about it...

it will give you a good start and a way of building up some traffic and if you find the right sponsor you will see a return pretty quickly.

How it all works is not rocket science, you get given a code by the sponsor that code ID's you on every sale or click.

List- I was thinking of a yahoo page or similar thing but figured porn type stuff would be against the rules, im gonna check that thread out. Whenever i make my first million ill throw a few bones to you guys that helped me out in the beggining

Ok ive been checking out some of these yahoo pages people have made. Should i go the very blunt "Cock sucking whores" route or try to build a site based on something else and slide the porn in there after awhile? It seems pretty clear to me the top page as far as members go are the blunt ones, i think i just try that

The best thing to do is get your own domain....nowadays you can get a domain for as low as $7.00/year. Once you get the domain just get a Virtual Hosting account setup which can cost you as little as $5.00/month. If you can make one sale a month it will basically cover your costs. In my opinion this is the best route to go instead of messing with free hosting.
