    I spammed, a bit.

    Not proud, but I was desperate. Either way, I was so careful in doing what I did, that these were some of the replies I got:

    "This spam was so creative and of such a high quality, that the least I can do is to reply to it. I hate spam, but if you got to spam, good work!"

    "Wow, this is either a real mistake or an incredible spam. Either way, you done a nice job. You seem like a real nice girl and I hope that you make some friends doing this. Thanks, *****"

    LOL, I send spam to a few k email addresses..... got a lot of hits for the amount of emails sent, but didn't make a buck. Either way it was a worthy endeavor. Really funny replies....

          They are real. I had a "Guestbook" setup where people could reply. I had to clear it out because so many people were saying "Who the fuck are you?" ... but got some awesome replies before that happened..!!

              What's to be ashamed of? If you have good lists, it's almost impossible not to make good money. I can't believe you read the replies though. Did you get threatened yet?

              Of course there are always the idiots that harvest whois emails, spam .gov addresses, etc.

                              Who's got thoughts on this? I know most like to talk serious shit about spamming, but haven't we all considered (or done) it at one point or another. This was my firs time, and I probably won't do it again (unless I can find a good open wireless network around here!!!) ... but it's an interesting advertising medium.

                              Come on, who else has some stories??
