    I just format and before I intalled all the drivers there is a fucking worm

    How can this be possible? I just formated my HD and I have a worm already. This sucks

                  Yes, I think that's the way. The funny thing is that I used to get drivers first all the time. This fucking worms are getting nastier by the minute.

                          Sasser is going to hit you as soon as you go online unless you have a firewall or up-to-date anti-virus installed first.

                          Problem is a lot of the stuff you need to get your protection up to date is online.

                          First thing to do when working with a new xp install - get the microsoft update that covers sasser - then everything else. Oh and install your firewall and antivirus real quick.

                          If you do get sasser before you update - remember to turn off system restore when the patch and anti-virus is running or you'll just keep making backups of the virus, time and time again.
