in 97 I answered an ad in the LA WEEKLY looking for internet models and chat/typist people. I was considering modeling (I was 21 and very naive), but passed (on the modeling that is) when I went in for my interview and was immediately hired as a chat person. Had a blast for a while until the company expanded and ran me around. I just posted about this somewhere else.
Three years later and still not making any fucking money while my boss buys a new house and then adds his dry cleaning to my work duties, well I was out of there. Now I exploit myself, and the rewards just keep getting better!
