Everytime me and my bf get in an argument and he thinks that I am telling him what to do or if I disagree with him, he will always say that "men go to war" so that's why I should know my place and show him respect and not try to tell him what to do. It is the stupidest argument I have ever heard, because he HIMSELF has never ever BEEN in a war and he has never even joined the army.

But he always says that IF something ever were to happen, it is always the men that have to die (say if we got invaded by another country) so I better know my place that "I am just a bitch" (he means that I am a female) and not try to be a man. Does this make any sense at all to you?

And then he will say stuff that women think they can get away with everything nowadays, they sue men for sexual harassment (which he thinks they are exaggerating), and do all sorts of things "against" men, but it is the men who always have to die in war so " I am a bitch and I should know my place", and not try to tell him what to do.

Does this make sense at all or is he totally out there? I think it is the weirdest outlandish thing I have ever heard, I have never had a guy use an argument like that before, bringing shit like war into our own private arguments. He thinks just because men go to war I should be grateful that I don't have to, and therefore show him more respect and not tell him what to do or argue with him. Even though he has never been in war himself. I think he is retarded and taking credit for something he has never even been through.
