My grandmother died today. I was a block from the hospital when my sister called me and told me she was gone. She came to America in 1950 followed by my dad in 1951 where he entered the war in Korea. My grandmother was a single mom who worked in a factory her whole life. My mom died when I was 14 years old and my grandma tried her best to watch over me. She was a strong Irish woman. I feel like a huge part of my soal is gone.I am so fuckin sad.

I feel you man. My great grandma was the same, single, factory worker with kids. Since my mom was single I spent A LOT of time with her growing up. The last few years alz heimers has gotten the best of her and she has all but physically died now. She isnt there at all anymore.
