I feel you man. My great grandma was the same, single, factory worker with kids. Since my mom was single I spent A LOT of time with her growing up. The last few years alz heimers has gotten the best of her and she has all but physically died now. She isnt there at all anymore.
I am really sorry for your lose. I dont know what I would do if someone important to me died unexpectedly. At least with my grandma she slowly faded away until I finally realized one day that she was gone.
