It sounds like he was just watching TV, and sorta got fed up with the number of gay characters he saw in shows, the number of gay plotlines, etc.
The increase in the incidence rate of the (let's call it) Gay Motif on TV is VERY different from having some guy at a bar grab your balls.
I think a lot of people posting in this thread are reacting as if DarkJedi had actually been violated, transgressed upon or in any way personally offended by a gay person.
He was watching TV, and he didn't like what he saw.
Now is the moment to point out the extraordinary hypocrisy of this reaction on an ADULT WEBMASTER BOARD -- where, presumably, First Amendment championing and progressive attitudes towards sex and sexuality are the rule.

can't have it both ways.
You can't lobby (by implication of your presence here on GFY and acknowledgement of the issues our industry faces) for a more rational governmental and cultural posture towards adult entertainment AND demonize the healthy sexual conduct of 20% of the earth's population.
For a long time, racial minorities were woefully under- and mis-represented on TV.
If you were a visitor to Earth from another planet, say, and you turned on a TV in the 70s, you might have formed a very different picture from reality -- one where all Asians operate laundromats, all Hispanics have INS worries, and all African Americans live in a Shaft-ian ghetto of pimps, prostitutes and addiction.
