Just got back from seeing it.
Hits and Misses: I have to agree there are a few scenes that miss, but those scenes only miss by a little. There are Plenty of scenes that are hits and they hit big. The further into the movie the bigger the hits. The end is one hit after another (although there are a few real bad puns involving C3-P0 that I can't figure out why they put them in). Some real nice ties to the original movies and the end leaves you wanting to see what happens next (which we already know from the original trilogy, but it will be cool as hell to see it actually unfold).
I'm taking the family tomorrow and I am sure I will enjoy it even better.
Not many movies where the whole theater erupts into applause when a certain little green character starts whooping some bad guy butt.. Spider-man better watch out
Just got home from seeing it
Yoda definately kicks some ass (especially for a guy with a walking stick lmao)
There were some really tacky lines - and yeah c3-po's one liners were more like something from "the Mummy" trilogy
the love scenes sucked but the spfx were great - best to see it on big screen ;)

Ha ha ha, that's funny because our local KFC also had Episode 1 toys and fuck, it was 10 months after the movie came out and the kids were still getting them in their kids meals.
Just came out of the theatre. I give it a 3 1/2 out of 5. Jake "the Muss" as Jonga Fet was the highlight of the movie. I really dug the stormtrooper origin. Totally worked for me.
If this movie did not have such a great background and followers, it would be a flop. The soundtrack sucked ass, the acting was below par, and the character development is all based on previous flicks. If you would like to see how they can make one of the greatest villains, Darth Vader, a sniveling, pouting, hot-headed, dumb as a rock, punk kid, then go see this movie. Episode 3 is going to have to be completely about how the idiot Anakin becomes the Uber villain because it is going to take hours on screen to make that transformation.
Of course everyone is going to see this flick but do not expect it to be awe inspiring in the least. It was barely entertaining and I have been a Star Wars fan all of my life. The most entertaining aspect of this movie is seeing how it all ties in with Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back.
