I had a guy work for me few years back who was a student. If I recall right as a F1 visa holder you are not allowed to work more than 10 or 20 hrs a week. That is the only restriction. There are no restriction on how much you can earn.
My advice is keep your papers straight , because they come in handy when you want to work later in life. Call H&R block ask them about it. Or you can even check with your student advisor in college.
