What state are you in? ... in PA, from what I recall, one has clocked at 30+ miles over the posted limit to have their license suspended.
Correct. In some states there is a maximum over where it's considered reckless, and/or they immediately revoke your license. I believe here, if you double it, you're done.

Lastly, the easiest option is to simply drive with a suspended license ... and one can sometimes even do so legally depending the laws of the state / and or judge; the courts are hessistant to take away one's livelyhood and thus often willing to work out an arrangement.
Not sure about the laws in your state, but this would 99% of the time be incorrect. You can drive on a suspended license in the case of a medical emergency only (was told this by a judge when mine was suspended).

Don't waste your time with this. Simply, you need to hire a good criminal attorney that deals with such matters. I've had a suspended license many time, probation, restricted, and so forth. I've had to petition the court three different times to get a license. Here is what you need to do.

First, you get a good attorney who handles these type of cases. If you do not have any DUI's and it's your only crimanl record, you have a good chance to get off with a fine and probation.

Next, you will need to petition the court. Either to get your license reinstated, or to get a restricted, or provisional for work/school whatever.

The amount of time for 'probation' and fines all varies. I've had to pay $1500 once in a fine, and $100 a number of times. Once had to pay off unpaid tickets, and was done. Been on probabtion for a year twice, and two years once. No big deal. Do 6 months, no run in with law, pay your fees, and you get done early.

Regardless, hire an attorney.
