Sure. That'll happen just shortly after the average joe figures out how to get the blinking "12:00" off his VCR.

The people that'll get the most use out of XTV are the people who want the advantages of online delivery, without wanting to become intimate (heh) with his computer. XTV setup is very very straightforward: 1 box, 1 cable to the net, RGB (or YCrCb) to the TV, and you're already online with scads of content and no hassles. Plus the thing weighs maybe a pound and a half... toss it in a suitcase while you're on vacation and if your hotel has net, you have your entire library without having to haul around a laptop.

From the viewer's point of view, if there is a nice steady fresh stream of stuff they haven't seen before, a monthly fee isn't that bad.

You'd still need your computer to navigate. XTV is designed from the ground up with remote control couch potatoes in mind. There are a lot of different elements that separate us from ordinary sites but we'll make those known as the right time comes. We don't want to give away too many ideas to competitors if they're not already thinking outside the box
