I think there is little doubt that Barry Bonds, Mark McGwire and many other baseball players used steroids. Performance enhancing drug abuse is common in baseball as well as many other sports.
The problem has reached epidemic proportions, so for the health of the athletes, and the youth who idolize them, and for the integrity of sports, it is time to have a uniform policy regulating all sports, not just baseball.
In keeping with my belief that those who benefit most should be taxed most, the cost for the testing program should be born by the owners and athletes and NOT passed along to the fans who have already made these people ridicuously rich (not that I expect that to happen).
