As an employer when someone wants to quit and gives 2 weeks notice 9 times out of 10 you are better off telling them thanks for the notice but you can leave now and here is a check for 2 weeks pay. The last thing you want in your company is an employee that has short timers and may be hooking up with a rival company working for you.
