Hmm, maybe I need an introduction here. Guys, I'm a serious guy. So go Fuck yourself, ok?
Well guys, let me introduce myself.
I am a programmer and a webmaster and I am not related to David or PornHero. I program both offline software and online software. I'm into SEO but not the standard SEO that most folks practice (I call that SES, can you figure out what the second S stands for?).
I am using PHP and CGI and HTML online.. and also am very capable with offline software development. I'm not as much into the adult business itself as I am interested in the whole programming behind it. So I'm probably not your typical David or Porn Hero.
Admin can check my IP address and verify I am neither of those two folk. The first person who starts rumors should first verify the rumour. Ugh, well I guess then it wouldn't be a rumor.. it'd be a fact. But you get my point. Admin can also verify that I'm not on a proxy hiding my ip. Of course, admin most likely doesn't even visit the forums because they are busy running businesses. But I'm sure a Moderator could do it, or some fucker that's fucking himself.
Page rank is not so important. You are right. I have web pages with a page rank of 0 or 1 that get all sorts of hits due to just having a lot of content on the pages. Some pages like MSN.com have a high page rank but they don't get any hits.. all their INTERNAL links with page rank of 0 get all the hits. But page rank is a good way to check if your domain name is generally getting better in a long term "corporate" perspective. By corporate persepective I mean: in bed with google. There is no harm in having a higher page rank. If you had a page rank of 0 and then you got a page rank of 2, you know you will be getting more hits. If you got a page rank of 0 and then it stayed at 0, you may be getting more hits.. but you can't verify it as easily. Just in your stats, but no secondary measure. So it's more useful as a scale, a secondary one. I use Stats mainly as my primary source of information (raw logs, and sometimes software that parses raw logs.. but not the online software like webalizer.. it's not reliable sometimes).
How to check page rank? Well I have offline tools that i've programmed to do that.. but the simple non-programmer answer is: Internet Explorer Google bar.
