No predictions needed anymore. Before the season ever started, it was assumed that Lakers will take the crown with the entry of Malone and Payton in the line-up, making them the most invinsible team to beat.
Though other teams are doubtful that LA would take the crown, Spurs were then determined to retain their championship belt. This goes also with power house teams such as Kings, Nets, Mavs and others who themselves are in a battle to get the crown.
Against all this odds, Lakers proved them all wrong by taking the Western Title a couple of days ago. History has already made itself as early as now. Why?
I don't think Detriot can ever match the likes of Shaq, Malone, Kobe, Payton. This all boils down to championship experience which the Piston's surely lacks.. and don't forget Malone and Payton are on a mission of their ending career.
