Most porn companies won't use the JVC. They will be using the Sony. Most porn camera guys don't use (or know how to) manual settings or pro audio so the Sony FX1 is the best choice for them. Most of them are still using the VX2000/2100.Originally posted by IllicitComment

Alot of folks hate JVC in adult, they won't use em.
However I goto differ, I think JVC has turned out some grat camera's in last couple years. I have JVC GR HD1 and its one of the most versatile Cams I have ever had.
It performs awesome and is nice and compact.

It took my cousin a couple of months before he finally shot in HD. He bought the camera when it first came out and we couldn't figure out how to pull the HD video. It wasn't until he bought Premiere Pro that we were finally able to edit HD.★★★

DO not confuse Wide Firewire with 1394
HEhe Yeah the Premiere Pluggin is expensive, I went with Ulead the pluggin was much cheaper and the results came out just fine
