Ireland is probably the place where anti-american sentiment hits home the hardest for americans that travel there. Simply because Ireland has always had a bit of a love affair with the US. Visiting presidents have always been welcomed with open arms. I believe Bush is the first american president to have ever been protested against when visiting Ireland. Things will probably slowly return to normal once Bush is out, though.
