                    In reading some of the other boards, this is happening on most of the larger ones. Many don't offer any kind of freebies for posting, so on the surface, it makes no sense.

                        you must be reading it wrong then...not angry at all...very rarely angry....seems like you may be digging for anger..understandable though, very common thing around here

                        i reply to peoples posts to make connections, and when someone replies to something I posted i feel obligated to respond...just my thing though...but wait, it is a forum, isn't that what the quote thing and the reply button are for?

                            No, not looking for anger... As I dont let some words get to me.. although I do laugh at a lot of *attitudes* around here.. I laughed at you.. cuz you seemed very angy on that initial post.. and I just wonder why would anyone get that upset over a board posting..

                            And sure, it is a board and you can reply and post as much as you can, but you seem to contradict yourself a lot:

                                so, because I reply to what people post in here directed towards me, i am contradicting myself and care what people think of me? LOL...nice way to turn it all around to what you like dude.

                                i don't care what people think, but I do converse and meet people...if that makes me look over my shoulder and see what people think of me, then so be it....but I just consider it replying

                                and the only reason it seems as though I took that post personal is because I said it was a stupid idea to cut everyone off from 2004+ right?.....i didn't take it personal, i just thought it was a stupid idea
