The law in Denmark says that it is illegal for stores to sell alcohol monday to friday after 8 in the evening. On saturdays it is only legal untill 5 in the afternoon. Sunday is illegal.
Most cornerstores ignore this law, but all the big supermarkets are very strict about it.

Bars and clubs are legal 24/7 as long as they have an alcohol license.
