show me an article that says scientists have ever seen one alive or know much about them at all other than the dead ones that are caught in nets or wash up on the beach. there is certainly no report of a person being attacked by one. thats really rediculous.
i have seen dozens of giant squid that we have caught in the Gulf Of Alaska while fishing for Pollock. One of them is in the Smithsonian Institute. i doubt anyone else here can say that.
