Who had the upper hand in this situation? Big ol' Lightspeed or lil ol' you? The model wanted Lightspeed, and not you. You negotiated them to $3500 from $2500, which is very good for you. You cannot expect another business to clean your mess and pay the full bill. Asking for an extra $500 after they just agreed to give you $1000 extra seems like a reach, I think they initially were doing you a favor.
