                    i agree and i am going to add to his statement. too many of you are quick to use the word "friend". i dont know if it comes from hours of icq chat, hours of board chat, hours of phone chat or even hanging out but i can tell you that a friend is someone who is developed over time.

                    what i mean by that is that it takes a long while (at least with me) for someone to become a friend. trust and honesty has to be established and that is not something that is established with countless hours of board/icq chat nor is it established because you talked at a trade show for a few hours and downed a couple of drinks. a true friendship takes years to develop.

                    someone you talk to on a board or have a beer with is nothing more then an acquaintance. granted there are different levels of acquaintences but no one and i mean no one should be a "friend" unless you know them inside and out. and no one that you exchange money with/are in business with should be a friend UNLESS you have known them more years then you can count.

                    mixing "friendship" and business is a bad, bad combination. if you do mix, then you get what you asked for.
