    Annoying commercials purposely produced to piss you off...and they get results.

    Millions of dollars are spent to produce many video and audio advertisements called "Dumb Selling" by major firms to produce enough hate in the commercials to implant the items/services in your brains. Such practice, not unlike and still used small nano second flashes on the your TV and hidden audio clips on the radio. The infomercials you see these days may look poor produced, but they're done that way purposely.

    NY lotto and Ronco are two good examples.

      Quiznos was one of them... It never pissed me off... But it did get a lot of ppls feathers ruffled...

          And it will be a looooong time before I eat there again. I must be weird, but TV ads any more tend to make me not shop at places. I am especially tired of all the ads that make men out to be morons and the women brilliant. Lots of ads use this tactic and it really turns me off to a product.

              i see ads like that all the time
              there is one ad i just cant wait for it to go off air
              it's an ad for cofee - and i'm sure all the aussies here know it,
              the voice over woman is "whispering" :"we dont disturb the beans.."
              I fucking hate it with a passion - nothing in this world is more annoying than someone pretending to whisper when they are actually just talking louad with a weird "gravel" in their voice

                              holy christ, that is the worst commercial i have ever seen. i mean they have these retarded looking rats singing, they are just so gross. i am not a huge fan of the place anyways, but now after these commercials i will avoid them like the plague.

                                      The Quiznoes one sucked and I aint bought SHIT from them so I dont have to go into the store and see that ugly fucking mascott...

                                      I hate those Idenity theft fuckers where the voice dont match the person.... THOSE get on my nerves..... along with ALL the medicine commercials that tell ME to go ask my Dr. for pills for ailments I may or may not have.....

                                          and it works so well.

                                          I dont know if they do it in the US or elsewhere but here in Aus TV Commercials have the audio massively compressed so that even though their decibels are the same - they sound MUCH louder than the tv shows
                                          i think it's because they know peopel walk out of the room to make a coffee or take a leak when ads are on.

                                          it's a pain in the ass if you have a baby - you're watching a nice quiet movie at 3am then BAM!!!! here comes SONY with an ad for a new stereo compresesd to be 3 times louder than the volume you're set at
