I get asked often if Phat Servers offers tech support via ICQ. The answer is no, we do not. At first, the person I'm speaking with is disappointed... until I explain to them why ICQ based tech support is a horrible route to go.

Let me ask you guys something... how many times a week do you find threads on GFY saying "is ICQ working"? Several, right. How many times a week do you send a message to somebody over ICQ and they never receive the message? Several, right.

So let me ask you guys another question... why would you want to trust such an unreliable communication tool with something as important and crucial as your web hosting?
